Opening the thoracic cavity
Seeing the anatomy after the dissection is only half of the picture. The body is intricately connected and watching it come apart provides insight you will not gain in any book. This Saturday September 30 from 1 to 4, we are opening the chest cavity of one of our donors. You will get to see how the linings of the lungs and heart connect to and interact with the muscles of the chest wall and diaphragm. We will also see the heart and lungs and their relationship with the liver through the diaphragm. The information you will gain will be priceless, yet it will only be a small donation fee of 50$. Do not miss this rare opportunity. See you at the lab.
